During my conversation with Mason Gravely (@alive_adventures on IG), I asked him what a good interviewer is like. I admire him as an interview so much, I had to know.
He said, “You know, it’s someone who listens. Someone who really is present. You can really tell when an interviewer is distracted, or they’re just kind of going off. They’re calling it in.”
Mason does incredible work for Athletic Brewing, the nations best and only (?) brewery only brewing non-alcoholic beer. Amazing stuff.
And given that many people are starting Dry January, as luck would have it — and it was luck — I had this episode in the can. We don’t talk about Dry January, but promoting Mason at this time might be perfect for some people out there looking to have a Dry January and level up, should they choose.
Mason produces Without Compromise, the branded podcast of Athletic Brewing. He’s a great interviewer. This particular podcast is the kind of thing I’m doing for Exit 3 Media, my new podcast producing company. (I registered it with the state of Oregon and everything!) Aligning with brands I admire and respect to help tell their stories.
Anyway … Mason also has been involved with the Outdoors Sports Podcast, where he and other hosts speak with outdoor athletes about their careers and lives.
